Terms of Service

By accessing or using StatementConverter (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

StatementConverter is an online tool that converts bank statement PDF files into structured CSV or Excel spreadsheets. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files that you do not have the legal right to possess or process
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Use the Service to process third-party financial data without authorization
• Misrepresent the output of the Service for fraudulent purposes

You are solely responsible for the files you upload and for ensuring you have the right to process the financial data they contain.

We use template-based parsing with automated balance verification, and we strive for the highest accuracy. However, we do not guarantee that converted data is error-free. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all converted output before relying on it for accounting, tax, legal, or any other purpose.

• Paid conversions are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
• Pay-per-use credits are valid for 7 days from purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• If a paid conversion fails due to a technical error on our side, contact us within 14 days for a re-run or refund.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is the property of StatementConverter. You retain all rights to your uploaded files and the data extracted from them. We claim no ownership over your content.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points: uploaded PDFs are deleted immediately after parsing, and parsed results are automatically deleted after 30 minutes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatementConverter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. Rate limits may apply to prevent abuse.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms, without prior notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
